I was inspired today to share some insight since beginning this whole juicing thang. It's amazing to me how much our diet can affect us. I'm a lover of fine dining...... cheese, bread, wine... beer, more bread, more cheese, throw some ice cream in there, & TONS of coffee. Fine dining, huh?!
I've spent most of the past two years bloated out of my mind. Seriously, I think my husband has heard, "I'm bloated" more than "I love you." I exaggerate..... but seriously, bloated. In the beginning of this summer I would continually get dizzy at work like I had vertigo, I felt I was going to pass out (now I know how Lucille 2 felt, poor thing). I constantly never liked the way I looked in my clothes, going to Goodwill every chance I got to spend $20 on ten items just so I could add to the frenzy of getting ready each day. I don't have to continue, but I just want to tell you that I didn't feel myself. I felt pretty bland & blah.
I watched the famous documentary "Fat, Sick, & Nearly Dead" on YouTube (please watch!) back in May, and it really changed something in me. It wasn't how much weight he loss, or even how amazing he felt, it was how he helped others find the light. I was blown away that one person's health choices could help change someone else's. After this, I was inspired to do the same. But, of course, a bloated woman probably shouldn't be the one sharing health wisdom. So my friend Erin & I shared our desires of a vision to help our city Evansville find the light. We wanted to juice, one cup at a time, for one person at a time, to help not just them but us.
You'll definitely get to hear more of our story later on, but I wanted to share that since the beginning of June (the start of dreaming & juicing) I have felt more alive than I have in the past handful of years. I feel 18. Maybe even 12. Just kidding.... I feel amazing. I even went to Target tonight & bought size 6 pants and I was blown away that a 2 year bloat is now gone, & my dizzy spells have vanished. Please come back & visit us here to read more of our venture of spreading the light.

I just watched the documentary "Fat, Sick, & Nearly Dead". Thank you for suggesting it. You have inspired me. I have ordered a juicer and am planning to get started juicing as soon as it comes in. I am so excited.
